Self-Contained Skid based Water Mist System |

The Water Mist system is designed to insure an adequate air and water supply to extinguish the fire. The minimum protection time shall be 10 minutes if used as total flooding and 5 minutes if used as local application, according to the manufacturer’s approval. The system is designed to meet customer requirements of air and water availability: Self contained system, where water and air storage is provided; or Hybrid system, where one fluid (water or air) is plant supplied, the other fluid (water or air) storage is supplied; or Plant service system, where air and water is provided from the plant services |

Securiplex’ Water Mist system consists of: ¨ Tank assembly ¨ Air cylinder assembly ¨ Discharge manifold assembly ¨ Zone valve assembly ¨ Twin-Fluid Nozzles All system operation is monitored and controlled by Securiplex Model 1010 conventional control panel. |

The Water Mist system is a highly effective extinguishing system that uses water and air to generate a fine water droplet. The Water Mist system uses less water than standard sprinkler systems and provides equivalent or better extinguishing characteristics than gas but without hazard to personnel. |
